Roller Shutter Push Button Lock Box — Stainless Front, Keyed (Housing Only)

Keep the up/stop/down buttons behind a locked lid.

An exposed push button on a roller shutter is an open invitation: anyone walking past can run the door, and a vandalised station means a call-out. This lockable housing puts the control point behind a hinged, keyed lid, so only people with a key can operate the door.

Built for side-motor installations where the push button is mounted on the wall next to the door: workshops, warehouses, shops, self-storage and body corporates.

• Polished stainless steel front flange and lid face
• Powder-coated steel body, set back behind the flange
• Hinged lid on a full-length piano hinge
• Chrome cam lock with a flat cam tongue, two keys supplied
• Internal mounting plate with a rectangular aperture and two fixing screws, sized for a three-position (up/stop/down) push button
• Round knock-out in the back of the recess for cable entry

Please note: the push button is not included. This is the housing only, sold as a replacement for damaged or seized lock boxes, or as an upgrade for an exposed push button. Not sure your push button will fit? Send us its make or a photo before you order and we will check it against the aperture.

Mounting

The wide stainless flange trims the front and the steel body sits back behind it. Measure the opening against your installation before you fit — call us on 072 461 3870 if you want to check it first.

For indoor or under-cover mounting. The lid is not gasket-sealed and the housing carries no IP rating, so do not mount it where it will take direct rain.

This housing is designed to prevent unauthorised operation of the door and to resist casual tampering. It is not a security or anti-theft device.

Delivery

R150 courier fee, anywhere in South Africa, shown at checkout. Accessories on the same order ship for one flat R150 however many you add, and an order that also includes a motor pays the per-motor fee plus one R150. Orders are processed within 1–2 business days and delivered door-to-door with tracking.

Warranty

One year against defects in materials and workmanship, from the invoice date. This is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, not instead of them.
