Retro-reflective photoelectric sensor switch
R 299.00
Retro-reflective photoelectric sensor switch is an industrial optical sensor designed to detect objects by bouncing an infrared or visible light beam off a matching reflector plate.
Key Technical Specifications
- Operating Voltage: 12 to 24V DC or wide-range 24–240V AC/DC (depending on the specific sub-model variant).
- Sensing Range: Typically, up to 4 metres when used with a standard target reflector.
- Output Configuration: Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) dry contact internal relay output.
- Switching Capacity: Built-in mechanical relay rated up to 3A at 250V AC.
Control and Indicators
- Sensitivity Dial (SENS): An integrated adjustment potentiometer used to increase or decrease the optical detection distance threshold.
- LED Status Indicator: On-board light indicator that illuminates to provide a visual cue when an object enters the detection beam or breaks the alignment.
Wire Colour Functions (Standard Pinout)
The sensor uses a 5-wire layout split into dedicated power supply lines and dry relay contacts:
Power Lines:
- Red (RE) / Brown: V+ Power Input.
- Black (BK) / Blue: V- Power Input / Neutral.
